Every Friday, I have a conversation with my Buddy Eddy Quan.

He is crazy, humble, and very talented. But most importantly, he is funny AF.

You know the feeling when you go from meeting to meeting, and they drain you.

Every Friday, I look forward to the conversation with Eddy.

Why…?

It gives me energy. The moment I open Zoom, we start with talking shit.

There’s always a funny story to share. And that’s where the magic starts.

From those stories always, insanely crazy ideas pop up. A lot of them are crap. But some make sense.

We always joke about how crazy we make money by talking shit and sending emails.

And the beauty is so can you.

So, what can you learn from all of this?

I challenge you to find one like-minded person. Make sure it clicks.

Plan weekly meetings. Give each other feedback, share ideas, and, most importantly, have fun.

Because it’s fun and ignites inspiration, and from inspiration comes excitement. And excitement is amplified when you share it with like-minded people.

After my word vomit all over your email inbox, let me summarise it for you.

  1. Find one person to connect with.
  2. Schedule weekly calls
  3. Don’t take it seriously. Have fun.
  4. Discuss ideas as they pop up.
  5. Don’t force anything.
  6. Keep each other accountable.
  7. Keep doing this every week.

Create your environment to generate and nurture ideas.

Is this the only way?

Absolutely NOT. But it works for me. And I’m sure it will work for you.
