“AAAAU”

“What the fuck” Mariska screamed.

I didn’t know what hit me. I was checking my phone while walking alongside a rice field with Bumi and Mariska.

We love our little morning routine. But little did I know a few seconds later, disaster would hit me.

I stepped into a hole, a deep one.

You might think, what’s a hole doing in the middle of the ricefield?
Let me share some Bali agricultural insides.

I know you’re dying to know. The holes alongside the rice fields are part of the irrigation system.

End of lesson.

At first, there was no problem. But after a while, my ankle started to hurt badly. It’s OK now, but I guess the lessons of these months are:

Don’t walk while you check your phone, and avoid scorpions.

Doing two things at a time will always end badly.

And that leads me to today’s topic.

Can a course hurt your flagship offer?

Let’s say you run a gym. And you offer a stretching course. Some might buy your courses instead of your gym membership.

Because in their cheap minds, they might believe that a stretching course will help them lose weight. Some clients are weird, I know.

So the answer is: Yes, a course can cannibalise your main offer.

But…

That’s NOT a bad thing.

When you’re a frequent reader of my letter, you know that I always promote to sell a lot. When you don’t offer a solution, somebody else will.

And at the end of the day, the more offers, the more sales you make.

When you have questions, just email me. ( And I’ll get back to you with the speed of light. Because now I’m known as The Limping Scorpion Man.)

I am looking forward to talking to you tomorrow.
