Coffee is a course creator’s best friend.

This morning, Riska and I went for our morning swim.

That’s one of the perks of living on a tropical island. You can do this every day.

On the beach, we met our friend Daniella, a talented holistic health practitioner.

And she was saying that for years, she was stuck in the rat race and battled health issues.

She was fed up one day and travelled to India to visit the oldest Ayurvedic hospital. It changed her life.

“It’s amazing how they can cure chronic issues with oils and herbs,” she explained.

“In the hospital, I realised it was my calling to help others do the same.”

“My boyfriend Andy and I will host a retreat to inspire people to change their lifestyle.”

“How are the sales going?” Mariska asked.

“Well, that’s another story. We don’t make any sales.”

My ears spiked up.

“Let’s have coffee, and I’ll help you with that,” I said in my excitement.

I love to solve marketing issues because, most of the time, the solution is very simple.

So I ordered my golden milk, an amazing drink of cocos milk, coffee and turmeric, and we got to work.

I asked Daniella a few questions:

  • Who do you serve?
  • What’s your price point?
  • Can your clients afford your offer?
  • What are you doing to get clients?
  • Where does your audience hang out?

Daniella looked at me like a deer about to get hit by a car.

“I guess i’m a bit overwhelmed” she stumbled.

Most people suffer from being overwhelmed and lack focus. That’s why most of you give up way too soon.

All it takes is a conversation with somebody who did it before, and you’re good to go.

Two hours later, we identified who she helped. We also found that she was spending her time on the wrong things.

Daniella posted her flyer all over Instagram and was busy with her website.

Those are the last things you like to do when you want to sell.

We created a simple daily plan to sell 20 people into her retreat. It looks a little something like this:

  1. Share your story on social media with a call to action.
  2. Start conversations at places where her audience hangs out.
  3. Actively comment on posts to have DM conversations.
  4. Spend time to get affiliate partners on board. (Very helpful when your audience is still small)
  5. Host a 7-day online challenge to get leads in.
  6. Speak to former clients and make them a discounted offer.

Now that Daniella has clarity, her chances of success have increased drastically.
