It was 1987.
My dad brought home a Commodore Amiga computer. It was a big ass unit with floppy disks.
I remember how me and my sister were staring at this magical machine.
It wasn’t too long before we could do basic computer stuff.
The email was in its infancy. I loved the idea of typing a message; seconds later, somebody else could read it.
With the age of social media, email was forgotten. But it never lost its power.
Can you imagine that you can build relationships on a massive scale?
You can send emails like the one you’re reading now.
Little stories to entertain and educate. And over time, you can make an offer.
Many creators try to sell through DM’s and Social media.
You see, X is not a place to sell. It’s a place to make noise. Your newsletter is the place to make sales.
This is how you start a newsletter:
1. Pick an ESP (Email Service Provider). I love convertkit.
2. Invite your X followers to join your email list and offer a lead magnet.
( Remember the Course Creation Checklist that brought you here?).
3. Start writing great content.
I am looking forward to your journey. Now, over to you.
