Growing up, money was not widely available.

As a kid, I got like 5 euro per week allowance.

Most of the time, I burned through that money in two minutes,

Later in life, I embodied the mindset that money was not widely available.

For 30 years, I lived from paycheck to paycheck.

Until one day, I met this young guy at a party.

“Can I ask you something? If I ask you now to spend $10K, would you be able to do so…?”

“I couldn’t,” I answered.

“It’s time that you made more money than you spend.” He said, and he walked.

Sometimes, you get inspiration from the most unexpected places.

I started investing in myself. Learning everything about sales, marketing and digital products.

And within 5 years, I became financially independent.

In today’s letter, I’ll share how you can make $ 1,000 in 7 days based on what I‘ve learned and my personal experience.

This method was taught to me by my buddy Sean Anthony.

You don’t need a fancy website or landing page.

All you need is an offer, an email list, and a Google doc.

Let’s jump in.

The conversation starter.

Send a message to old clients and social media followers.

Something like this:

I’m putting a small paid group together, helping entrepreneurs to build and sell their first course.

I’ll show you how to make money in your first month working with me using my sell before you make method.

Would you like to join us?

Goal: People to raise their hands to your offer.

If the answer is Yes:

I am happy to share the exciting details with you.

Before I do so, I like to ask you three questions to see if I’m the right guy to help you.

I would like to help you sell your course by hitting the ground running.

Do you make a decent monthly income from your business? How big is your social media following? And how big is your email list?

I am looking forward to your reply.

Virgil

Goal: Qualify people.

When they answer all your questions, this will be the next message:

Perfect. I’ve got all the details on a Google doc to share here. One quick favour to ask…

After you read it… could you kindly let me know if you’re in or out or have any questions?

The answer is yes.

Goal: Ask permission to follow up. AKA, stalk them until they tell you to fuck off.

Thank you, Virgil. I appreciate it, LFG…

Here’s the link. (Send a link to your Google doc.)

The answer for people who do not qualify.

Thank you, Harry

My advice is to keep building your audience first. Make some money from clients.

This workshop is too early for you. Keep reading my emails, and when you need help, find me.

Goal: Get people ready for your offer.

The follow-up

The money is in the follow-up.

Here’s a box of tissues to dry your tears and start the follow-up.

Here are some example messages you can use:

Are you ready to get started? Yo, did you manage to make the payment? We start in 4 days. Let me know if you’re in. Let me know if you have questions regarding the payment.

Be creative and stay persistent.

One of my sales mentors once said:

The only reason why you stop the follow-up is when they use these exact words:

Can you please fuck off with your messages?

Only then do you send one more follow-up, and you stop. (For a while)

Now, it’s your turn to take action on what you just read.

You’ve got this.
