How to sell courses through email
If one thing keeps business owners up at night, it’s sales.
You know the feeling when you’re at the dinner table, and your partner talks and talks about god knows what?
All you can do is stare and hear your thoughts like a broken record.
“How I’m going to make sales.” “How I’m going to make sales.” “How I’m going to make sales.”
The frustration of not knowing what to do next can bring a seasoned entrepreneur to his knees.
You can’t go back to your 9-5. The thought alone must fuel your motivation to make it work.
It’s time for social email selling.
Before we dive into email concepts, I like to give you an insight into how people buy.
Clients will buy on their terms, never on yours.
That means that you need to remind them often about your offer so they can justify the purchase.
In short, you must present your offer at least seven times before they consider buying.
The best way to do so is through email.
The biggest mistake you can make is to bombard your audience with desperate sales messages.
When was the last time you bought shoes after a lousy sales attempt like this:
“You have to be quick before they’re gone.”
Never right?
So change your tune or get buried next to all those pushy, broke salespeople.
So this is what you do instead:
- Always share stories in your emails.
- Make sure your emails are fun to read.
- Add your personality; be yourself.
- Give value and share the WHAT, never the HOW.
- Always end with an offer.
- Give clear instructions on how to move to the next step.
- Send regular emails and always include a call to action.
- Never be desperate or needy. (You’ll look silly.)
Sales don’t need to be a pain in the A**. Interacting with your audience and making them low-key offers can be quite fun.
Show them that you don’t care if they buy or not.
Keep sending emails with offers, and over time, people will buy.
