What shall we watch tonight?

That’s the question I asked Mariska when it’s Netflix time. She always looks at me funny because she knows we can never agree on a show.

Look, I like guns, explosions and superheroes. Mariska couldn’t care less about Wolverine claws.

Is it only me who always wanted to wear a Spiderman suit and climb the skyscrapers of New York?

Anyway…

It was Riska’s (as I always call her) choice. She picked Seinfeld. Of all the 1000 titles on freaking Netflix, she chooses this.

Let me watch a sitcom when you like me to roll over and die.
But he, what could I do?

I grabbed my phone, and while talking shit on X, I glanced with one eye at the screen.

After watching for 2 minutes, I could not help to get sucked into the story.
Look, I hate Seinfeld. But still, he put a smile on my face.

And after a while, I got into the episode.

What is the secret of Jerry Seinfeld? How could this guy pull me in and let me watch the thing I hate the most?

He made me smile.

You might think Virgil, get to the fucking point. And I will, but before I do.
Let me ask you this. Is it only me that doesn’t like Seinfeld?

Please let me know in a reply.

But let’s get back to the point I like to make.

You see, most people like to build an audience. And what do they do? They are so serious.

The same people like to sell courses to their audience. What do they do?

They go on and on about the features and how great they are.

Game Changers it’s time to wake the f*ck up.

After watching Seinfeld, I came up with this thesis.

When you make people smile, they will follow you and buy faster from you.

Your only job is to put a little smile on people’s faces. You need to become an entertainer.

Before you rally an angry mob, travel to Bali to set my house on fire. Let me tell you this:

You don’t need to become a comedian.

Instead, write as you speak. Share stories like you do with your buddies when throwing back tequillas.

Brighten up people’s day by being you. And the followers and the sales will come by themselves.

Speaking of entertainment. I’m planning to host a 2 hours sales call workshop.

I’ll teach you how to use stories that entertain, delight and close sales.

Who says sales calls are scary?

They can be fun and very rewarding when you do them right.

When this is something for you, comment the word SEINFELD, and I will send you the deets.

For now, I sign off with a big smile on my face. Because tonight it’s my turn to choose what we watch.

Peace out

Virgil “ Who hates sitcoms” Brewster
