Why awaken when we all die anyway.
You might be as shocked as I was.
It was a question being asked to Eckhart Tole.
I will not dive into the answer, nor is my intention to convert you into a new-age hippy, although those people I consider among the happiest on this planet.
But anyway.
You might understand where this question is coming from.
Life is short. So, the question for most business owners is:
What are the most important things to spend time on to generate revenue?
You all know that money buys you freedom. But to do so, you need loads of it.
And that’s where courses come in.
A couple of days ago, I was working with a client. At one point, she asked:
“Why should I build a course?”
That question made me realise that most business owners don’t know the benefits of courses.
So, let’s find out why you should build a course.
- You can create an extra revenue stream by doing the work once and reap the benefits till the end of time.
Leveraging your time is a forgotten high-income skill that needs to be in the same light as copywriting, sales and marketing.
- You get paid to generate leads.
In this big ocean of marketing sharks, you need to fight for attention.
You need to pay to play when you would like to shortcut lead generation.
There is nothing wrong with that marketing model; you only need deep pockets, and most business owners don’t have the stomach or the knowledge to get started.
So, selling courses is a great lead generation strategy.
- Downsell opportunities.
It’s a shame that many business owners bow their heads and walk off when a client says no.
You leave money on the table when you’re not always trying to sell a simpler version of your main offer.
So when your clients say no to coaching, offer them a self-study course.
So here you have three important reasons to build your course today.
I hope this awakening makes you think differently about how a course can help you shape your life.
You’ve been born, and you’re going to die. That’s a fact.
It’s all about what you do between life and death.
Power to you.
