Virgil, are you there?”

My accountant asked over the phone. I didn’t know if I should jump for joy or be in shock.

“The money should be in your account in two days.” My accountant continued. I remained silent.

I couldn’t believe it. How could I forget something so important?

Years ago, my partners and I borrowed money from our holding companies for our business.

Back then, it was a lot of money. However, our business mentors ensured we needed a safety net, so we each deposited $50K into the business.

Years later, when we did very well, we received the money back with interest. How’s that for a pleasant surprise?

I felt inspired thinking about this event to write a letter about borrowing an audience.

Affiliate partners were the secret weapon to all my launches on X. Now it’s time to build your amplifier.

Does this sound cool to you?

Let’s dive into why borrowing audiences is important and how you can do the same.

Imagine promoting your offer, and a horde of affiliate partners will share it alongside you.

Let’s build an amplifier for your course launch. These are the steps to find your affiliate partners.

1. Make a list of entrepreneurs who have similar audiences.

2. Start building relationships with them.

3. When you have conversations, invite them to become a partner. This is the message template:

Yo, Virgil here,

I have something cool to share. I’m launching my course soon. And I would love to have you as an affiliate partner.

How would you like to make money with two clicks?

1. You send my offer to your list.
2. Check the affiliate dashboard to see how much you made.

My course will cost $149, and I have an upsell for $1999. For every sale you make, I’ll pay out a 50% commission.

Let’s do this together:)

Virgil

Feel free to change this template and add your personality. This one always worked well for me.

Especially with the affiliate partners I don’t have a close relationship with yet.

This is what I send to my friends:

Yo brother.

I hope all is well. I would love to have you as an affiliate partner for my upcoming launch.

I offer a course for $149 with an upsell to a workshop for $1999.

Let’s crush it together.

4. Set up Thrivecart and make sure you buy the pro version to use the affiliate dashboard.

So here you have the steps to build your army of affiliates. I always say the more partners, the better your launch.

If you have any questions about this process, reply, and I’ll answer your questions.

Let’s get this done, game changer. And we’ll talk tomorrow.
